APCs & Article Submission Charges

Gemeinschaft: Journal of Social and Community Engagement is committed to promoting equitable and open access to scholarly knowledge by making its published articles freely accessible online. Readers worldwide can access, read, download, cite, share, and reuse published articles in accordance with the journal's licensing and copyright policies.

The journal does not charge authors any manuscript submission fee. The submission fee is IDR 0 for all authors. Authors are therefore not required to make any payment when submitting a manuscript to Gemeinschaft.

Furthermore, authors affiliated with institutions outside Indonesia are exempt from article processing charges. The article processing charge for eligible international authors is USD 0.

The journal may provide an optional expedited editorial and peer-review service for authors who require priority processing. Authors interested in this service may contact the Editorial Office to inquire about its availability and applicable administrative arrangements. Any priority processing service, where available, is entirely optional and does not guarantee acceptance or influence the editorial decision.

All manuscripts submitted to Gemeinschaft: Journal of Social and Community Engagement are evaluated solely on the basis of their academic quality, originality, relevance to the journal's scope, methodological rigor, ethical compliance, and scholarly contribution. Financial considerations or requests for expedited processing have no influence on decisions regarding acceptance, revision, or rejection.
